Our little Layla Wren was born on January 9th, 2009 at 6:15 pm. She weighed in at only 11 ounces, and was 23 cm long. She was a tiny little image of perfection, with miniature versions of her mom's feet and dad's ears.

We are so thankful for everyone's love and support through these last few weeks. We are extremely blessed to have such wonderful friends and family. :)

Oh, those pictures are just heart breaking. She is beautiful. I love her name.
I cried a bit when I saw the pics. So sweet and so tiny... so very sad. I love that you were able to document her for the very short time that you had.

I just found your blog and I have to comment, your baby Layla was so precious and so perfect, I am sending a special prayer tonight up to the heaven and I hope she can hear it. The pictures are simply beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time
